So I recently got to speak to Dr Clay Routledge who has extensively studied nostalgia including what it does to our brains, what it’s for and how we can use it to our advantage. He has a book out in December, Past Forward: How Nostalgia Can Help You Live a More Meaningful Life, and a preview to our conversation (and his book should you read it) I wanted to give you a little insight into what I’ve taken away from the conversation, what I learned and how I’m going to think a bit differently about my nostalgic dabblings in the future.
