Following on from last post where I wrote about the role of taste in overstimulated culture I am starting to gather more passion about these posts. I do think it’s harder to find great curators of taste, people who can point you in the direction of those ‘yes’ moments of discovery. If I am that for you, I happily volunteer as tribute and look forward to making more of these (currently I do one per month). I will keep them exactly as I just described - a curation of taste and this will include a mix of products, media and places. So without further a ramble, here’s Feb’s issue :)
During lockdown I was little miss eco-pants, doing cloth nappies and all sorts and as life as returned to normal some of these good intentions I’ve let slip. As spring clean feels set in I’m trying to nudge my consumer behaviour again and I’m making the move to shampoo and condition bars. I just invested in some from Kit.Sch and also got the shower caddy which hopefully fixes my adulting storage confusion issues!
We went away this week and I finally got around to trying this out and do really like it as an innovation in sticker technology, especially for on the go. In case your wondering - don’t kids just use all the stickers in one go? Um, yes that was my experience, lol. But it’s calmed down since the first use and the multipacks of refills aren’t too spenny! A good one for planes and trains!
